3D Reconstruction of Acaquizapan’s church using aerial images for photogrammetry and NeRF.

During a visit to this small town in Oaxaca, Mexico back in 2018, I flew my drone in an orbit to capture footage of the town’s church. Years later, I was able to render out the original 4K/60fps video into a high quality image sequence, these images were then processed using photogrammetry to create a 3D model of the town’s square.

There is little to no google maps photo/3D view of this town but I was able to create a model that can be scaled up and even walked through using AR/VR!
