
While working part-time at Apple Retail in Operations, I took the initiative to create design work for the store — motion graphics for internal communications, 3D service icons, and a full 1:1 scale AR-viewable replica of the store for layout planning. That self-driven work earned recognition and ultimately landed me a role as Motion Designer for Apple Services Marketing within MarCom (Marketing Communications), creating template concepts, motion design, and 3D assets for new product releases.

The Story
Studying Design
I was studying design in college while working part-time at Apple Retail in Operations. During breaks I'd work on homework and class projects — 3D modeling, motion graphics, visual design. All my coworkers knew I was into design and art. It was a natural part of who I was at the store.
Contributing to the Store
I started helping out with small internal projects — adding motion graphics and design to internal update emails, creating 3D icons for store services, and eventually building a full 1:1 scale 3D replica of the store to help the team plan and visualize layout changes. Set it up to be viewable in AR so you could walk through proposed updates at real scale before moving a single table.
1:1 Store Replica
Built a complete 3D replica of the Apple Store at true 1:1 scale — every table, display, fixture, and product mapped to its real-world position. Used for planning layout changes and viewable in AR to walk through updates before committing to them.
